Do you
know a needy animal who needs a good home?
On a
space-available basis, the CDHA takes in animals who
are unwanted, abandoned, unable to be kept by their
owners or otherwise needy. And these animals are
kept for an unlimited time at no charge to the former
owner until a home is found.
We need
you! The Capital District Humane Association is
a volunteer organization. It is not subsidized
by any governmental agency but depends entirely upon
fund-raisers and donations.
If
you care about animals as we do, please help us by
donating money or time to our cause. State
employees, please donate to us through the SEFA
campaign. Our ID# is 50-423.
Support
of CDHA by bequest, trust, or endowment provides
vital resources to ensure the Association's continued
fight for animal welfare. If you are interested
in further information, please contact CDHA or consult
with your attorney.
If you
wish to make a donation, want more information about
CDHA or wish to volunteer, please e-mail us, write or
call.
CDHA
welcomes anyone interested in volunteering their time
with adoption clinics and fund-raisers. Foster
homes are always needed as well to accommodate the
number of pets who need temporary homes before they
are permanently adopted. Please contact us if
you are interested or can help in any way.
