"Fostering has
many rewards, not the least of which is getting to know the
animals' personalities and watching them evolve into confident,
loved, and well-adjusted beings. The knowledge we gain from
having foster animals in our homes allows us to share much
insight with perspective adopters. It all makes for a happy
ending and "forever home."
REID and PENNY
"Reid" and "Penny" at rest. What a
happy ending this had! We rescued little Reid, the Bichon, from
a kill shelter, where he was going to be euthanized due to some
guarding issues. With the help of a behaviorist and much love
and understanding from his foster mom, Reid turned out to be the
perfect gentleman we always knew he was. He's now been adopted,
and there are many more to take him place, but boy does him
foster mom miss him."
